NYC and Mexico Comedian Keenan Steiner (Edinburgh Fringe Festival) has been working on his standup hour and it’s full of surprises—both to the audience and himself. “Sneaky” centers on peeking out of the closet a little late, being in, being out, the surprises, fun and struggle of living as a gringo in Mexico, and family, identity, and relationships, all fusing together into one unexpected one-man show. Full of both uniquely active bits and twisted one-liners, Keenan’s hour has been called the “Funniest thing I’ve seen in years” and “100% Can Recommend” by audiences in the U.S. and Mexico.

Keenan Steiner is a comedian from Chappaqua, New York who spins his real-life stories into riotous comedy—all in his energetic, authentic, and charming (he’s been told??) style. Coming up in New York and then bringing his comedy to Mexico for three years before returning, in the past he’s performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Jersey City Comedy Festival, the 5th Borough Comedy Festival, and others. In 2021 and 2022, he went wild in Mexico where he launched his first English standup hour, and soon started doing standup in Spanish, which is not his native tongue. Overall, he’s put on his standup hour, Sneaky, and a different hour in Spanish, dozens of times across cities in Mexico and in New York.
